Privacy policy
Updated on
This page explains what personal data is processed when you visit 0meridian.info and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). In short: the page asks nothing of you — it has no forms, accounts, cookies or traffic analytics.
What is processed
Technical data
The page is static and hosted by Cloudflare. As any web server does, Cloudflare records standard technical logs (IP address, request time, browser type) needed to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not use this data to identify you or to track your behaviour.
Messages sent by e-mail
If you write to office@cleanwaterfoundation.ngo, we receive your e-mail address and what you write. We use them only to reply.
What we do not use
The page uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It uses no Google Analytics or other traffic analytics, no advertising pixels, and no embedded maps or videos. Fonts and images are hosted on this site itself, so opening the page does not send your IP address to anyone else.
Legal basis and purpose
| Purpose | Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Delivering and securing the page (technical logs) | Legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Replying to your messages | Legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) |
How long data is kept
- Technical logs: under Cloudflare's policy, usually a few weeks.
- E-mail messages: at most 24 months from the last exchange.
Who else has access
Only the providers that run the infrastructure, strictly to deliver the service and under data processing agreements:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosts the page and keeps the technical logs;
- Google (Google Workspace) — hosts the foundation's mailbox.
We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell, rent or exchange personal data for marketing.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Both providers also process data in the United States. The transfers rest on two complementary grounds:
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework — Cloudflare and Google LLC are certified under it, recognised by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023;
- standard contractual clauses adopted by Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, included in both providers' data processing agreements.
Should the adequacy decision be invalidated, the transfers remain covered by the standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to office@cleanwaterfoundation.ngo — we reply free of charge, within 30 days.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may complain to the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP) or to the courts.
Changes
When the 0meridian platform launches (with accounts, comments or other features), this policy will be updated before those features become available. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
